Does seem very educational (teaches shapes, alphabets and colors). My daughter (9mts) enjoys the bright flashing colors of the lion and the nodding head of the lion. She has not yet graduated to grasping all the info the toy has to offer. The music seems pretty loud and so I put some scotch tape over the speakers. Helps marginally to reduce the sound.
I bought this for my son, he is 3. He loves it, he calls it his kitty cat and loves to pull it around. Great product at a great value + very educational.
My 5 month old loves this toy even thought it is meant for 12+ months. The music and the flashing lights intrigues her and the giggles it makes when the lion is pulled backwards always makes her laugh. The voice of the singer in this toy is not very cute though. Sounds a bit weird and not sweet enough.
